The location of the Three Gorges Dam is in China. It can be found in the Yangtze River the 3rd largest river in the world. The main reason this damn was built was because of flooding and thousands of people drowning. It also can be electric generating. This shows that Earth's waters can be harmful. Now more people are living closer to the water with little fear that it will flood.
