Front

Cold Front: Cool air moves in and pushes warm air up.
Warm Front: Warm air comes in and pushes cold air down.
Stationary Front: Both cold air and warm air meet each other and don't have enough force to move each other.
Occluded Front: Warm air gets trapped between two cold fronts and gets pushed upwards.

Acid Rain

Acid rain is strong enough to damage building. The cause of acid rain is the burning of coal, wildfires, and exost from from cars. The consequences of acid rain could damage builds and status, and harm lakes and ponds so that fish couldn't live there any more. To stop acid rain we could use hybrid cars and use solar panels for powering houses.

Earth's Atmoshere

Earths atmosphere is different from many other planets and moons atmosphere because most other planets don't even have an atmosphere protecting them. Our atmosphere not only protects us from meteorites but it also keeps us alive with the basic components of nitrogen and oxygen that keeps us breathing. Other planets with no atmosphere don't have these components so they are not able to support any life on there planet. When meteorites hit other planets they just hit and create a crater that stays forever but when a meteorite hits our planets atmosphere the friction from it just burns up the meteorite. Once in awhile one will hit our surface causing a crater but in time erosion will get the best of the crater and it will be just a mere memory.

Perspective

The book zoom was a book that started with a picture and every page would zoom out of the picture and would show something different each time. The inferences that i made on thus book were not always entirely true sometimes i would think it would be something next then it would be something entirely different. What this has to do with perspective is what i think will happen next in the book.

One time i got in trouble for getting in a fight with a kid because he was making fun of me and i thought i was right for me to hit him but then i realized it wasn't his fault for making fun of me it was mine because i was making fun of him first. So i saw through his perspective that his only defense was to make fun of me back and what not.

enigma box

During the class demonstration of the enigma box i observed that the enigma box is a shiny black rectangular box with two holes at the top and a tube hanging out of the bottom. As she started to pour more and more water into the holes at the top it started to drip from the bottom. After 450 m it just spurted out of the bottom.

What i think the inside of the enigma box looks like is just a whole bunch of tubes leading to a box with a door that opens when all the water presses down against it.

The skills scientist use in figuring out stuff are observing, inferring, pridicting, classifing, and making models. When i was studding the enigma box i used these skills. I observed what happened when she poured the water into the enigma box. Then i had to take notes on what i observed and interpreting them. After that i predicted what was going on in the enigma box and how it worked. Finnaly when she told us how it worked i made a model of it so i knew how it worked.

What happened in the enigma box was there was a tube looped up and when she poured the water in the box the water rose and rose intell it was at its highest piont. The air in the top pressed the water down when it started to drain so it made it faster.
